In ADL BioPharma we continue to strengthen ties with the University of Leon and betting on local talent. On May 20, we were present at the “Expo León i4.0” fair, which brought together about thirty companies from the technological and industrial sector of the province with more than 160 students from Industrial Engineering, Computer Science and Aerospace School.
This event, organized in collaboration with Federación Leonesa de Empresarios, FELE, was aimed at bringing together students in training with the most important companies in our area to meet some important objectives:
- Improve the employability of students and recent graduates, making them aware of the professional profiles and skills most in demand by companies.
- To favor intermediation and initiate communication between employers and employees, increasing the opportunities for access to employment.
- To provide a meeting place where companies could get to know each other and, who knows, maybe have a first contact with more than one future member of our team.
From ADL BioPharma we were able to make ourselves known, talk to the students and explain the possibilities of work and internships that our company can offer to students, avoiding the flight of qualified young people who wish to stay in our province.
During the fair, which was attended by personalities such as the rector of the University of Leon, Juan Francisco García Marín, and the Industry, Commerce and Employment Councillor of the Junta de Castilla y Leon, Mariano Veganzones, students were able to participate in teams in an online contest about the participating entities and projects. This different way of dynamizing the event, allowed to deepen the characteristics of each company and discover which one best fits the profile of each student.
